About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Move between geometric, mathematical, and rotational angle notation. Degrees are the reference unit; a full circle is 360 degrees, 2π radians, 400 gradians, or one turn.

How to use

  1. Enter a finite angle without its unit suffix.
  2. Set the source to deg, rad, grad, or turn.
  3. Choose the target unit and copy the numeric result with its abbreviation.

Common questions
Are angles normalized to one revolution?

No. Negative angles and values above a full turn are preserved rather than wrapped into a 0–360 degree range.

What is a gradian?

A gradian, also called a gon, is 1/400 of a full circle, so a right angle measures 100 gradians.
