About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Sample the actual pixels of a decoded image without uploading it. Click or tap the Canvas preview to inspect precise coordinates and collect a small palette in three copyable formats.

How to use

  1. Choose an image to draw on the local Canvas.
  2. Click or tap a pixel in the preview to sample its color.
  3. Copy HEX, RGB, or HSL values and reuse colors from the recent palette.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Does the picker use a screenshot approximation?

No. It reads RGBA values directly from the Canvas pixel at the selected image coordinate.

Why can transparent pixels look different elsewhere?

The tool reports the stored RGBA values; transparent colors may appear different after compositing onto another background.
