About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Organize pasted lists with the ordering that matches the data. Alphabetical sorting is locale-aware and handles embedded numbers naturally, while numeric mode validates every non-empty entry before sorting.

How to use

  1. Paste the list with one sortable value per line.
  2. Select alphabetical, numeric, length-based, or reverse ordering.
  3. Review the reordered lines and copy them back to your document.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Why does numeric mode reject words?

Treating non-numeric text as zero would hide data problems. Every non-empty line must be a valid number in numeric mode.

Does A–Z sorting understand numbers inside names?

Yes. Natural numeric comparison places item2 before item10 instead of relying only on character codes.
