About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Prepare plain lists for spreadsheet and data-import workflows. Values containing the selected delimiter or quotation marks are escaped according to CSV conventions instead of producing broken columns.

How to use

  1. Enter one value per line; empty lines are omitted.
  2. Choose comma, semicolon, or tab as the output delimiter.
  3. Copy or download the single-column delimited result.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
How are quotation marks escaped?

A field that needs quoting is wrapped in double quotes, and each internal double quote is doubled.

Why choose semicolon or tab output?

Some regional spreadsheet settings and import systems expect those delimiters. Tab output is TSV rather than comma-separated CSV.
