About this tool

Made for the task at hand.

Transform a header-based delimited file into an array of JSON objects. The parser follows quoted-field rules, including doubled quotes and multiline cells, instead of splitting every line naively.

How to use

  1. Paste CSV with a unique header row and at least one data row.
  2. Select the delimiter used by the source data.
  3. Resolve any row-width or quoting error and copy the JSON array.
Your work stays yours.
Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to KitVerse servers. Clear the workspace when using a shared device.
Common questions
Are numbers and booleans converted automatically?

No. Every cell becomes a JSON string, preventing accidental loss of leading zeros or changes to identifiers.

Can a quoted cell contain a newline?

Yes. Quoted multiline fields and doubled quote escapes are supported; inconsistent row lengths are rejected.
